The Mercurien Platform incorporates unique HD video image processing, financial grade GPS and a financial transaction engine to remove significant operating costs for operators and increase asset value for owners across existing toll roads.
The combined video image processing and financial grade GPS solution (developed by Skymeter) enables tags to be replaced completely as a source of roadside data capture and over time provide an economic solution to geographically spread road tolling. The financial transaction engine enables billing accuracy and real time traceability of road user trips.
The Mercurien Platform has been designed to cover all the functional requirements needed to achieve economies of scale required by multiple road-asset companies. Whilst the Platform is a fully integrated solution, the architectural design enables flexibility in component solutions being utilised.
